Terms of Service

Last updated: September 2026

These terms govern your use of totalcaresolutions.ca and any services booked through Total Care Solutions. We keep them plain on purpose.

Quotes and pricing

Price ranges published on this site are honest, current Nova Scotia market ranges — not final quotes. Your binding price is the written quote we issue before any work is booked. That price holds for the scope described; if site conditions differ meaningfully from what was described (e.g., a driveway twice the stated length), we re-quote in writing before proceeding.

Bookings, weather, and cancellations

  • Nova Scotia weather is a party to every booking. We rebook weather-affected visits automatically — you don't chase us and we don't charge for the reschedule.
  • Cancel any one-off booking up to 24 hours before the visit at no charge. Recurring plans (mowing, cleaning, snow contracts) can be paused or cancelled with 14 days' notice — no exit fees, no guilt trips.
  • Seasonal snow contracts are capacity commitments: they cover unlimited clearing for the contract season and are priced accordingly.

Workmanship and access

Work is performed by vetted, insured service partners who answer to the Total Care standard: if something isn't right, we make it right. For exterior work you don't need to be home, but we need reasonable access (unlocked gates, pets inside). We can't be responsible for damage caused by undisclosed conditions — underground services you didn't mark, structures in disrepair we weren't warned about, or items left in work areas.

AI assistants

Our voice assistant and FAQ bot are AI systems operated by AIQ Labs (our parent company, based in Halifax, Nova Scotia). Their job is quoting, scheduling, and answering questions — not closing contracts on your behalf. Anything they book is confirmed by a human before work begins.

Intellectual property

Site content, seasonal guides, and pricing research are ours — use them for personal planning freely, republish them commercially only with written permission.

Liability

Our liability for any claim is limited to the value of the work in question. Nothing in these terms limits rights you hold under Nova Scotia consumer protection law.
